         Central Tainan has become a battlefield of Japanese grills. Hirano Coal Grill, near the intersection with JungYi Road, has both a Japanese grill--which uses fresh meats--and a Korean grill with cured meats. For a set charge of NT$268 to NT$318, one can enjoy limitless combinations of short ribs, mutton ribs, fish chins, beef strips, chicken legs, pork steaks, squid, mackerel, clams and other seafood. There's also a salad bar filled with fruits and vegetables, plus warm or iced beverages.
