VISITOR RATINGS & REVIEWS Selling
hot savory pies imported from the UK, London Pie is a new addition
to the culinary landscape of Tainan's university neighborhood. In
addition to Cornish Pastie, Chicken Curry, Pepper Steak, and Ham
& Cheese pies, proprietor Roger Hsieh offers something a little
more exotic--spicy Chicken Peri-Peri. These pies are all priced
at NT$55, and make for a tasty snack. In keeping with the London
theme, the glass-sided cabinet in which the pies are displayed and
kept warm is decked out to resemble a red British telephone box.
For those who fancy something sweet, Apple Pie and Red Bean Pie
are available (both NT$25). Roger also sells various soft drinks,
plus soup (NT$30). This is a branch of the original London Pie store,
which is located inside Amy's Pasta House, a popular Kenting restaurant.
