FA luxuriously appointed escape from the bustle and noise of downtown Tainan, Terrazza Ristorante offers a wide range of Italian set meals and dishes. The plush interior suggests sky-high prices, but the menu lists several reasonable options, such as spaghettis (around NT$250); pizzas (NT$250 to NT$300); plus risottos and pasta dishes (NT$360 and up). The choice of salads (NT$180 to NT$200) includes wild mushroom, beef, and smoked salmon. The manageress, who says Terrazza has been open for around four years, recommends the Squid Ink Pasta (NT$400). For those with deeper pockets, there are fish, duck and steak dishes priced from NT$600 to NT$1200. Set meals come with bread, soup, dessert, plus coffee or tea; a 10 percent service charge is added to checks.
