Located on FuXing North Road, My Other Place is a friendly and cozy pub that makes everyone welcome. It also has, quite possibly, the most AC units per square meter anywhere on planet earth. The bar staff are unpretentious and dress according to a different theme every month (this month's theme: France¡Ðhence the berets).

The cocktail this month was prepared by Jessica, who was a little reluctant to be photographed until she'd gulped back a good proportion of this monster drink. The Texas Ice Tea (NT$350) is laden with alcohol(see the recipe) but has a refreshing fruity taste. This, of course, could spell danger, so don't rush it down. It is served in a boot-shaped glass, which is very fitting because this drink has one hell of a kick. So, if you feel like taking on this mighty challenge in a pub with a great atmosphere, come on down to My Other Place.
