DaFang Regimen Cate Teppanyaki offers a hearty selection of food—without the greasy, lingering smell that haunts other teppanyaki restaurants. All produce at DaFang is cleaned with pure and oxidized water. Along with the use of olive oil or grape-seed oil for pan frying, items like soup, salad and bread are made without any oil. Chefs at DaFang insist on using minimal amounts of oil and salt to cook every dish, to highlight natural flavors. They are also particular about their spices. Instead of sea salt, they use the mild and low-sodium "Peacefully Si" mountain rose salt.

Healthy Seasonal Salad (NT$300) uses specially-selected seasonal fruits—its ingredients are quite different than any ordinary salad and include Holland green tomatoes and mulberries.
Pan-fried Scallops (a la carte NT$300 per piece), imported right from Hokkaido, Japan, are slightly pan- fried then seasoned with rose salt—a taste not to be missed.

At DaFang, you may also order dishes a la carte. A dish like "A Bite Fragrance" is a favorite among many celebrities in Taiwan. Even Korean singer Rain came to DaFang the last time he visited Taiwan. This dish steams Yu Her Pao Lychee or Vegetable Sponge along with Hedychium Coronarium Koenig and seasonal fruits like Irwin mango, apple, and watermelon. You can easily smell flowers and fruit, thus the name! Don't miss their Pan-fried Scallops, either. These dried scallops are imported from Hokkaido, Japan, and are cooked medium-well and salted, making them juicy. You may also want to ask the chef for a piece of Perilla. Wrap this leaf around your scallop too bring out the taste even more. Another signature dish is the Beef Roll. Order this dish to try two different rolls-one with tender U.S sirloin steak, wrapped with honey tangerine, which has a salty & sweet taste; the other roll is full of grilled garlic, making the meat milder.

DaFang Regimen Cate Teppanyaki will celebrate its second anniversary from May 7 to June 6, so visit them during this time and order a set meal (NT$1,800 and up) or business lunch (NT$1,480), and receive a bottle of their special "Peacefully Si" mountain rose salt for free (kids' meals not included in the offer).
