Antoine's
Room, located in the Sheraton Taipei Hotel, has been
around for over 20 years, but has now re-opened with
a brand-new image. The new Antoine Room exhibits a level
of sophisticated beauty seldom seen in Taipei. From
the adjustable lighting, authentic Qing Dynasty antiques
and famous paintings purchased at elite auctions, to
the velvet sofas and grand carpets, the completely-renovated
Antoine's Room displays true French romantic elegance
with a modern twist. As for the cuisine, Michelin Three-Star
Chef Noel Bernard heads an outstanding team well-versed
in French regional cooking and experienced at fusing
traditional recipes with the freshest produce of the
season. Chef Bernard is known for his excellent culinary
skills and signature dishes. Every bite promises to
convey the ultimate French dining experience, from appetizers
and a la carte dishes to full set menus--such as Home-Made
Duck Liver Pate with Spicy Fruit Chutney Bread; Wrasse
with Spinach and Fresh Tomato; Champagne Jus; French
Pork Knuckle Flavored with Mashed Potatoes. As befits
cordon bleu cuisine, all this can be enjoyed to the
melodious strains of the harp on Monday to Friday nights.
