Located
on the intersection of ChongQing North Road, NanJing
West Road, and six other roads, the JianCheng YuanHuan
Food Court has its new birth after a fire in 1999.
The two-floor dome with an underground level is made
of glass windows. The sky garden on the roof has bright
lighting, making it a spotlight at night. The food
court has more than ten vendors; the first floor has
traditional Taiwanese foods including oyster pancakes,
sesame oil chicken, meat sauce rice, rice dumplings,
fried rice noodles, and other items. The restaurant
on the second floor serves Thai cuisine, ramen, and
teppanyaki. Don't miss the water fountain in the center
of the roundabout--it's one of Taipei's relics. Parking
is not easy in this area, so visitors are encouraged
to take a bus to the YuanHuan stop, or take the MRT
to Chungshan Station. The food court is just a short
walk away.
