VISITOR RATINGS & REVIEWS
The
newly-opened Shanghai Story was originally the Fang Family
Restaurant. Now, the traditional Chinese style has been left
behind, and the new restaurant has a refined, simple and modern
feel. The walls are decorated with numerous scenes from 1920s
Shanghai, creating an eating environment that compares to
a five-star hotel. Shanghai Story specializes in authentic
Jiangsu and Zhejiang cuisine and Shanghai soup buns. Manager
Mr. Chen says that the special features of the restaurant's
food are that it is exquisite, everyday, traditional and authentic.
All ingredients are natural; no artificial ingredients are
used. Dishes to watch out for include: Rag Gourd, Scallop
& Shrimp Steamed Dumplings, Steamed Dumplings (NT$100-160),
Shrimps with Vegetable (NT$198), Shredded Beef with Bamboo
(NT$226), Chicken Marinated in Shao Hsing Wine (NT$268), Simmered
Fish Head with Brown Sauce (NT$120), plus Fried New Year Cake.
