The Agricultural Products Promotion Center is a favorite snack destination for National Taiwan University students and Taipei residents, due to its warm cottage-like atmosphere, in the beautiful surroundings of National Taiwan University, its delicious food and reasonable prices. This center serves carrot bread, ice cream, sandwiches and set meals. The carrot bread is brought in daily from the National Taiwan University's experimental farms and has a unique taste due to the addition of strips of carrot. The ice cream sandwiches(NT$15) are also prepared by the National Taiwan University experimental farms. Set meals are available for NT$99 and include beef stew with wild yam. Afternoon tea is a real bargain for less than NT$50. Fresh fruits and vegetables, health foods, fruit juice, milk and bread from the university's experimental farms can be purchased at a store in this center.
