Two
Sons of Francisco
Rating: G Family / Drama
Director: Breno Silveira
Cast: Angelo Antonio,
Dablio Moreira, Marcos Henrique
An old, half-broken radio plays the
lively country music, which Francisco is crazy about.
Despite poverty, he has a dream: his sons become country
stars. Francisco puts all his fortune into ensuring
his sons' mastering of the perfect country duet and
thus appreciating the beauty of music. A guitar, an
accordion and two passionate boys' voices prove that
ordinary people can have seemingly impossible dreams
come true. As beautiful Brazilian folk songs play, the
road to their dreams is launched. Bright country scenery
on the way give the characters warmth and hope while
the beautiful singing softens the sorrow and homesickness,
just like a lullaby sung by their parents during childhood.
