Reaching adulthood, a young Russian man named Alexei (Nejmyshev) finds himself conflicted between the choices he wants to make for his future (his relationship with his girlfriend, and school) and the close relationship he has with his father, with whom he has lived together like two best friends, or brothers, his whole life.
