Book Coffee not only offers good food, but also fun activities for preschool children. Owner A-jia (a.k.a. Big Brother Book) once ran a mobile coffee shop and now hires teachers who has years of kindergarten teaching experience to be with the kids. Story times and birthday celebrations are held every month, and birthday boys and girls can attend these events for free. Event fees for children are NT$100 per person (including juice and snacks) and adults ordering over NT$40 can join, too. --By Ruby Wu, translated by Angel Pu

A. Various meals sets have entrees like bagels, burgers, waffles and Chinese stewed rice. Drinks include espresso, juice and teas. Roast Black Pepper Beef Bagel (NT$80) includes roast beef tenderloin and fresh vegetables, and comes with a refreshing, flavor-enhancing lemon mustard sauce. The set also includes an espresso or milk tea, plus corn cookies or corn chowder.

B. Big Sister Book plays with kids in a play area filled with books.

Book Coffee C. For dessert, Aadi offers simple but delicious homemade waffles (NT$110). It's also worth noting that owner Ms. Huang is a tarot-card master; customers interested in finding out more about this are welcome to call for information.
