Located not far from WenXin Road, section
3 and Wenhua High School, Bristot Cafe exudes a soothing,
quiet atmosphere with its big windows, dark-wood floors,
relaxing music and low-key decor. There is also a nice,
outdoor wooden deck in the back with umbrella-shaded
tables. The interior is lined with shelves featuring
the high-end imported food-and-beverage products it
sells in addition to usual menu items. These include
bags of Italian Bristot-brand beans, organic roasted
beans from Estate Coffees, Italian Rosmarino Farm pastas
and olive oil, Panamanian Congo-brand habanero-pepper
hot sauces, U.S. Lyons-brand toppings (chocolate, kiwi-lime,
caramel, etc.), and fine teas from TAZO, and Taylors
of Harrogate. Friendly staff are happy to advise patrons
about using these items for cooking/enjoyment at home.
For dining, the menu features 9-inch Mexican-style tortilla
pizzas (NT$120, NT$200 set with soup, drink, dessert),
Mexican wraps, salads, and five types of pasta dishes
(NT$200, NT$280/set) with pesto, creamy bacon and other
sauces, plus specialty pastas like trenette, gigli,
and ricciole. Fine coffees (made with the above imported
beans) range from the NT$50 espresso to the NT$200 Blue
Mountain No. 1. There are also smoothies, hand-made
flavored sodas, and red, green, flower, fruit, milke
and flavored teas (using tasty Monin-brand syrups like
Chestnut or Mandarin Orange).
