Who
would have ever thought there would be an authentic English
tea house inside a bustling department store? The color scheme
of Tea Color is an apple green, soothing all the customers’ senses.
Though the tea house is small, the clean and sleek decor
of white walls, tables and sofas makes it impossible to simply
just pass the tea house and not stop for a cup of coffee
and a slice of cake.
The tea house uses the cream of the crop – Harney & Sons
tea. Upon opening the menu, you will find teas such as Nuwara
Eliya, Earl and Assam, among ten other types. Each tea is labeled
with its origin, physical appearance, flavor and the way to
drink it. The labeling reveals to customers a sense of detail
and factoids of which the never knew before. An afternoon tea
set will cost you $185NT (English-style tea and a choice of
cake). Sandwhiches, Mexican beef and cheese burritos and other
meal-like dishes are $150NT. The daily spaghetti will set you
back $150NT. Set meals come with soup, bread, salad, dessert
and tea or coffee – costing you a total of $260NT. Wish
