into this eclectic shop and become immersed in images and
sound. Tea Bugs plays an array of contemporary Asian and
Western music creating a lively, upbeat atmosphere. The
decor is an interesting combination of art; one wall is
covered with a French street scene, while Indonesian carvings
and African sculptures augment the colorful ambiance. Your
interest will be piqued immediately by the staff, who are
extremely friendly and fashionable with vivid punk hairstyles.
The crowd is vivacious and the place oozes with energy
from every corner. Special teas include an excellent iced
loganberry tea that is divine for NT$120. Other teas, all
equally refreshing range in price from NT$60. For NT$130
to NT$160, Tea Bugs offers a set meal with a large mug
of tea included. The NT$150 Pork Ribs and Fried Chicken
are especially good. The NT$120 spaghetti special is also
a nice choice. The diversity of this shop makes it a definite
hot spot. |
