VISITOR RATINGS & REVIEWS
In the mountain area of Miaoli's Nan Chuang township, green plains
unravel at the mountain's edge in complete serenity. Entrenched
in the urban jungle for much too long, I gladly embraced nature
and this breathtaking view. After winding along serpentine mountain
roads, the three words "San Fu Rong" leapt before my weary
eyes. I was met with a view of a shack's corrugated roof and my
heart sank with disappointment. Yet, who would've thought that,
to the right, just around the bend, was a road leading to something
beyond my imagination -- a crowd eagerly waiting to go inside. It
was just as the website described it--an enchanting garden. I entered
the garden and cafe inside. Three sets of tables were near the windows
and a blossoming sea of flowers enveloped me. Mountain fairies seemed
to exist there. The blossoms seemed too beautiful to be true but,
by accident, I brushed the fragile petals of one and realized they
were all real. How diligently the owner has tended this garden!
Admission tickets cost NT$150. Drinks offered include coffee, milk
tea and juice. The main attraction, however, is the gorgeous view.
You can sit inside or take a stroll and marvel at the beautiful
flowers surrounding you. Outside, a Southeast Asian/Club Med-style
wooden shack used to showcase artists' works. Everyone comes here
to admire the beautiful scenery, but it is only open on weekends,
so be prepared for a crowd.
