VISITOR RATINGS & REVIEWS
Most Tunghai University alumni probably still remember the Plato
Cafe on Tatu Mountain. For the past 10 years, there have been two
top places for couples to go for dates. One is to go to Tatu Mountain
and appreciate the night views without paying a penny. The other
choice is to go a high-class cafe and spend a whole night there.
Plato Cafe is one of those places. Featuring neo-classical decorations,
it has curtains around each table that provide couples with all
the privacy they need. With pleasant classical background music,
you can choose the outdoor seats to enjoy the sunshine in the winter.
Or, you can sit by the side of the wall, enjoying the solitude while
looking at people on the street. Before, the must-tries here were
the fruit pancake (NT$120) and fresh fruit tea (NT$140). Now, there
are also many tasty set meals. Plato Cafe is also proud to present
its coffees, made from beans freshly roasted within the past 10
days. As for the taste, you should find out for yourself. For many
Tunghai students, Plato is a place with beautiful memories.
