     Many locals have heard of Jiu Ai Shin Huan Tea House. All of its interior decorations--from the antique windows and doors with decorative designs to the Chinese tavern-style chairs and the ox-cart wheel hung on the wall--proclaim that this is an old establishment. This traditional teahouse located in the busy Chung Yo Department Store business area grandly stands out from its surroundings. In Jiu Ai Shin Huan, little traditional toys and some old pictures hanging on the walls may be hinting at the customers to reminisce their childhood memories.

     The first and second floors are not too large and occasionally, you may spot a foreigner or two. This teashop offers Chinese tea and also little Chinese snacks, in addition to the common pearl milk tea and tangerine tea. Furthermore, meals like chicken rice and mushroom chicken rice (about NT$150-160) are also served with a free medium-size drink. Also, the second floor is perfect for those that come in larger groups. Finally, Jiu Ai Shin Huan even sells Chinese herbal diet tea, which is supposed to eliminate fat. Whether if the tea is effective or not, you won¡¦t know until you try it!
