The Great Wait is over for many eager Taichung coffee drinkers. The city has finally entered the ranks of world-class metropolises with its first Starbucks Coffee outlet, featuring the usual selection of fine hot and cold coffees, frappuccinos, bagels, Danishes, cakes, mugs and other items (including jelly beans). There is also the warm, pleasant interior and a great location, on a corner just up from Hotel National and within easy walking distance of Caves Bookstore, Sogo and Daimaru department stores and the business/hotel district.
