87, FengWei Rd, B1-level, Nantun Dist
Hours: 10 am-10 pm (reservations required--call Wed-Sun 10 am-8 pm)

Participants from age 6 and up can enjoy a variety of fun at this 300-square-meter laser tag course, where you put on a sensor vest and run through the black-lit maze, shooting at opponents with a laser gun for points and other goals. The basic one-hour session (NT$300 weekdays, NT$350 holidays; NT$150 for added hour) includes three 10-minute games--an Individual every-person-for-themselves challenge, a team-on-team game, and "Vampire", where a 1-2 "vampire" players transform other players into vampires when they shoot them (last human wins). Single games (NT$150 weekdays, NT$200 holidays) can also be booked. Other available games include "VIP" (teams defending a "VIP" member) and "Last Man Standing" with more to be introduced later. French owner/manager Alexandre Ducrocq recommends groups of at least six and up to 38 (advance phone reservations required), although individuals can join regular "Happy Hour" games, posted at Taichung.Lazertreks.com. Special customized activities like corporate team-building, birthday parties and school outings are also welcomed. --By Douglas Habecker, translated by Anna Yang
