American sportswear company Kaepa's new flagship store is housed in one of Taichung's more unique structures--the two-floor-high glass ball once home to Bobo Club. Inside, customers can browse through Kaepa's very attractive and fashionable line of athletic clothing, shoes, caps, bags and other accessories, primarily targeted at women (there are men's items, too). The main product focus is on yoga, although Kaepa is also well-known for its cheerleading and volleyball gear. According to management, special events like live music performances will also take place from time to time at the store. Besides this flagship store, Kaepa has two other Taichung city outlets (such as 266, HeNan Rd., Sec. 2) and one in Fengyuan City (24, ZhongZheng Rd.). --By Douglas Habecker, translated by Ann Lee
