Each
season features specific hairstyles. Troubled about
taking a chance with the latest hairstyle and whether
it will suit you?
Hairstyle
trends of the fashion world are divided into factions,
from which so-call trends are taken. And as factions
go, they are divided into "Euro-American"
and "Japanese".
The
Euro-American faction designers are trained in renowned
hairstyle schools in Europe and America. Known for
strict teachings, aesthetics and tradition, these
schools take an artistic approach with emphasis
on cutting techniques, hair styling product application
and the overall appearance, which exhibit slick,
simple, natural and bold qualities. Many known European
and American brands have taken charge into the Taiwanese
market: Sassoon, L'Oreal, TIGI and Mod's Hair with
its intense image building campaign.
The
Japanese faction in Taiwan focuses on hairstyle
products and has a loyal following of Japanese-style
salon designers. The hairstyles imitate those of
Japanese celebrities such as Takuya Kimura. The
Japanese cutting method is known for creating light,
floating hair. The hairstyles often result in two
extremes, adorable or overly mature. They also tend
to perm hair to achieve stylistic changes.
Another
indication of hairstyle trend is fashion show models'
hairstyles. However, how do we choose when they
are sporting fake bangs at one show and straight
ponytails at another? Asian features make it difficult
to whip up different looks for your hairs. My recommendation
is choose whichever suits you.
Hairstyle trends take turns whether they are from
renowned salon shows or by great designers. What
matter is to choose a hairstyle that suits you and
your hair type; a healthy-looking hairstyle is important
for showing off a confident you! |
