       Beyond a doubt the creme de la creme of clubs and spas in Taichung, Angsana City Club brings a whole new standard to the city with six restaurants and bars, a state-of-the-art gym, swimming pool, tropical sunbathing deck and the internationally-respected Angsana Spa. Angsana, located on top of Tiger City mall, is a joint venture with Singapore-based Banyan Tree Holdings and marks that spa resort company's first Taiwan establishment. The beautiful, 5,000-square-meter club takes up the seventh through ninth floors and, by no coincidence, resembles a five-star Southeast Asian resort. The spa itself includes 15 upscale single and couple spa suites and a beauty studio, plus exotic, tropical-looking outdoor Deluxe Therapy Pavilions with steam, shower, Jacuzzi and couple spa beds. A variety of Asian-inspired spa treatments are available. Food and beverage outlets include two bars, the Saffron restaurant, serving nouvelle Pan-Asian Thai cuisine and a teppanyaki restauarant on the roof. There is also the Angsana Gallery boutique, selling beauty, bath and spa-related products, on the first floor of the mall's plaza glass tower. The club facilities are open exclusively to members, with memberships now available.
