What was once Hunter's Pub and later the ID4 Pub is now the Rock
Mask Pub. Redecorated in hot-looking reds and blacks, this small
establishment faces Peoples' Square and is named after a heavy metal
band that plays there every evening at midnight. The pub features
a regular live sampling of musical styles, beginning with rock at
10 p.m. and including two jazz sets, nightly at 1 and 3 a.m. Beers
cost around NT$150 and there are other beverages and snacks also
available. While there's no cover charge, the owners request a minimum
NT$200 bill per patron on weekdays and NT$300 on weekends.
