Nestled at the far end of the new Tiger Frog restaurant is the second Grooveyard stage in the city. This stage, like the one in their Hua Mei west street location, is dedicated to great original music, spanning the genres and inspiring Taichung's musical landscape. Here, one can hear many of the foreigner-composed bands playing their individual styles of music that echoe the respective countries and histories of the musicians. They also host popular and up and coming Taiwanese bands. Every day from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. you can see 'Round Midnight playing an eclectic mix of original and popular jazz renditions. On both Friday and Saturday night from 9 p.m. to 12 a.m. there will also be bands from around the country (and world) showing off to the huge, open concept room, which is usually filled with people by the time the lights go up.
