      Although Zhong Xing Street conjures up images of nightlife and bars, nightlife has also begun to flourish on Gong Yi Road. 1898 Lounge Bar is situated near the intersection of these two roads. New Age melodies welcome patrons to this establishment. Davie, the owner of 1898, can mix up a wide range of drinks according to customers' requests, including interesting concoctions like the Dog's Nose, a nice mix of light gin and beer. Another very unique cocktail is the Horse Neck (NT$240), a favorite drink of U.S. President Franklin Roosevelt and many famous stars. Drinks range from NT$200 to NT$280. 1898 is well stocked with beers and hard liquors, ensuring customers can find whatever they want. There are also buy-2-get-1-free beer deals.
