      I was bored and driving around near Tiger City when a pyramid-like building caught my eye. Housing Rico Padre, this structure was surrounded by patios and shimmered with light from within, creating a mysterious, intriguing presence. Later, I returned to look for it in the maze-like streets, but didn't succeed until my third attempt. Once there, I found myself walking into a lounge bar with a wide selection of cocktails, fruit teas and juices. If you want to sample seasonal fruit, beautifully cut by the owner, just join the others at the bar. The decor at Rico Padre puts customers in a relaxed state and with the combined effects of the lazy-sounding jazz and the cozy sofas make it very difficult to get up the resolve to leave this lounge. At night, candlelit tables also make this a perfect place for couples to spend the evening.
