This classy-looking, cozy bar is the perfect place to enjoy a drink, listen to some good jazz and take in a NFL football or NBA basketball game. 52nd St.'s young owners, Tony Kuo and Miko Huang, are very committed to creating a jazz bar atmosphere, where one can skip the loud music and instead relax to the sounds of Miles Davis and other jazz greats. A TV also shows sports every night. The concept seems to already be drawing a regular group of white-collar office types who come to unwind after work. Draft and bottled beers and mixed drinks are NT$110 to NT$150 and there are coffees, teas, juices and sodas for cheaper. Heading downtown on Ta Ya Road, cross Chien Hsing Road and turn left onto Yu Teh Road (double road divided by grass strip). Tu Hsing Road is a few hundred meters down at the flashing light; 52nd St. is next to the Million convenience store.
