VISITOR RATINGS & REVIEWS
In a relatively-short time since its opening, Live 98 has already
done a good job of drawing a regular, fairly upscale crowd of patrons,
who come to enjoy its swanky evening atmosphere and the opportunity
to get up on stage and belt out a few karaoke tunes throughout the
night. Located in the same building which once housed Bhoom and
then Gringos Grill, the piano bar is conveniently located
in the canal district between Napoli and M&M. The new owners
have given the interior a facelift while keeping the long bar, which
serves a long list of beverages including NT$250 cocktails and teas,
and various beers from the NT$160 Corona to the NT$200 Boddingtons,
Grolsch and Kirin. There is also a respectable list of Western and
Chinese snacks and dining items, from dumplings to steak, costing
from NT$150 to NT$300. There is a minimum NT$500 bill (plus 10%)
per person.
