While rice is Taiwan's most common food staple, Rice Bakery has created something very unique out of it. This place selects high-quality rice, grinds it into smooth rice powder, and uses it as a flour replacement to bake healthy rice toast and other rice-based desserts. During lunch hours, Rice Bakery offers chef Julia's selected sets, and guests can watch her making creative dishes out of seasonal ingredients and rice in the open kitchen. --By Ruby Wu, translated by Angel Pu

A. This classy, elegantly-decorated restaurant also offers elaborate Taiwanese rice products and gifts.

B. The restaurant's signature, incredibly soft and moist Rice Toast (NT$200) has different flavors, such as the Mixed Grains Rice Toast and Sweet Yam Rice Toast being offered currently.
