In order to create their unforgettably-tasty curry, owner/couple Ivy and Morris visited Southeast Asia repeatedly. Despite being amazed by the curry varieties they tasted there, they failed to find a teacher to instruct them. Finally, using their own memories and trial and error, they learned to use dozens of spices like turmeric, cumin seeds, nutmeg and fenugreek to perfectly recreate these curries, traveling back to the original location just to verify that their flavors were right. The end result of this painstaking effort is Golden Curry, which offers not only curry, but also other touches like exquisite tableware, nicely labeled food and bibs. A. Golden Curry's owners went through a fairytale-like quest for the perfect curry, and continue to insist on conscientiousness and persistence in creating their flavors.
B. Shrimp Curry Noodles (NT$160) and Pork Steak Curry (NT$210) are both exceptional. The specially-made rounded thin noodles in the first dish are perfectly matched with the slightly spicy curry soup made from vegetables and bones, resulting in a sticky, mellow texture and flavor. The pork steak is topped with egg and pineapple and fried, giving it a refreshingly sweet flavor.
 C. The hot, spicy Pork Curry Hot Pot (NT$250) and Quesadillas (NT$50) are both good choices for the cold winter months and can be enjoyed together for some good flavor combinations.
