Tapa's Top is a top-notch bistro that specializes in exotic dishes at realistic prices. Tapa's provides a la carte dishes that go well with your choice of beverage. A few signature dishes include the Blue Papaya Seafood Plate (NT$165), Sour & Spicy Snails with Lemongrass (NT$165), Vinegar Sunghi Mushrooms, French-style Lamb Ribs with Mustard (NT$180), Vienna Chicken Steak (NT$280), Matsuzaka Pork Chop (NT$240), and Fried Cuttlefish & Cheese Rice Ball (NT$165). All are seasoned with many spices, herbs and special sauces. As far as wine goes, Tapa's Top recommends Rosso, an Italian red wine (750 ml, NT$1,200) or Toso, a smooth white wine originated from Mendoza Sun Jose (750 ml, NT$980) that captures the sweetness of passion fruit and honey, with a slight golden color. It's a popular choice among female guests. Heineken draft beer and a selection of miniature liquors are also available at Tapa's Top. Business lunches are served from Monday to Thursday for NT$250. Weekend reservations are recommended. --By Jenny Xu, translated by Ann Lee
