ADOBIKI

(04) 2206-9198
383, WuQuan Rd
Hours: 11:30 am-2 pm, 5-9 pm
Credit cards not accepted.

The owners of this Japanese restaurant have been running their business for over 40 years. To create a more refined environment for its patrons, Adobiki has renovated the interior and moved to a new location on WuQuan Road. Wooden black sofas, wooden decorations, and orchids lining walkway add to the classic Japanese grid windows and the traditional tatami dining rooms. The signature dish is pork rib Rice Bowl (NT$95). The Pork Rib is first steamed and then fried, which makes the meat juicy-tender. Baked-to-order Eel Rice Bowl (NT$180) is boneless eel, baked with their signature fish sauce. Adobiki also offers a variety of high-end cuisine for affordable prices. The Shark's Fin set meal (NT$880) has nine items, starting from the aperitif and going to dessert. Apart from the main course, which features Shark's Fin and Steamed Sea Urchin, you also have your choice of pork chop, steak, or lamb. After this comes Grilled Tiger Prawn with Cheese and Toubanyaki Eel Rice. This meal offers incredible value. They also have fresh sashimi dishes and vegetarian set meals, which come highly recommended. --By Tammy Huang, translated by Ann Lee
