Hou Zhuang Health Cuisine is a place to enjoy ten kinds of Hot Pot that range from NT$420 to NT$680. Vegetarians might enjoy the Tomato Hot Pot (NT$420) or the Hundred Mushroom Combination Pot (NT$560). Non-vegetarians may order the Tomato Hot Pot with beef, pork, or lamb. Also available to vegetarians are side dishes, such as the Shi Mu Fish Ball (NT$100), Grandma's Fried White Radish Patty and Pumpkin Patty (NT$60 each), and assorted salads (NT$120-NT$200) For afternoon tea, try a pot of Health-Preserving Tea (NT$150/pot, unlimited refills.) Twelve kinds of gourmet coffee and teas are also available (NT$90NT$150) as well as freshly-squeezed Vegetable Juice (NT$130-140). Hou Zhuang offers various made-to-order icy desserts (NT$60-150) and recommends the Malay-Style Fruit Sundae (NT$150). A spacious second floor dining area can accommodate group parties.
