iCE MONSTER

(04) 2319-7158
276, GongYi Road
Hours: 11 am-11 pm

Very popular among kids and families, Ice Monster's sales are not at all affected by the seasonal changes, as it has made a name for itself offering both hot and cold desserts. All menu items are made with fresh seasonal fruit helping maintain high-quality flavors and the business's popularity. The divine taste of winter strawberries and invigorating summer mangoes are added to shaved ice made with milk. This very fashionable dessert is known as a milky sorbet in Japan's Hokkaido. Or you can choose the simple pleasure of chewing different fruity flavors of crushed ice, filled with refreshing juices. The natural sweet and sour of the fruit mixes with the ice shavings and fruit pulp to produce the soft texture of a fruity sorbet. Stir it up a bit and it becomes a perfectly mouth-watering smoothie. The menu includes Seasonal Fruit Combo Shaved Ices (NT$160) and the Strawberry & Milk Sorbet (NT$150). Hot desserts include Adzuki Bean Soup with Rock Candy (NT$60) and Yam with Ginger Juice (NT$60), both authentic, old-style treats guaranteed to help keep you warm through the winter. --By Niang Chen, translated by Ann Lee
