FROG RESTAURANT IN TIGER CITY

The newest addition to the Frog pub family, although still a tadpole, is already leaps and bounds beyond the other Frogs thanks to its modern decor, glass walls and open design concept. Here, you can expect the same quality food and drinks that have made all their other venues so popular, including Roasted German Pork Ribs (NT$490), German Fillet Steak (NT$300) and Sauteed Fish Steak in Beer Sauce (NT$200). Along with great pizza, pasta and rice dishes, you may want to try their Mexican food, like the Mexican Rice Quesadilla (NT$250) or Beef or Chicken Enchilada (NT$220). But that's not all; they also have three different roasted potato choices, salads and soups, sandwiches, pub snacks and combo platters. You can wash down your meal with a selection from their six-page drink menu or purchase many great imported wines, spirits, sauces and cheeses displayed in the front entrance. Look out for live music and some exceptional special events. No doubt this place will be hoppin' in no time. --By Matt Flint, translated by Ann Lee, photos By Sam Howard
