Chef Peng Ming-cong, who used to work at Hotel Royal Taipei and The Splendor Garden Cantonese Restaurant, and Manager Li Fang from Evergreen Laurel Hotel have teamed up here to offer five-star restaurant culture using street stalls. There are nearly 30 varieties of Cantonese dim sum snacks-- like Fresh Shrimp Tiger Rolls, or Double Shrimp "Shao Mai"--made with fresh ingredients and great attention to culinary detail. There are also unique creations here like the very special Cuttlefish Rolls (NT$90), refreshing Pineapple Sweet and Sour Fish Fillet (NT$220), and distinctively-textured XO Boneless Spareribs (NT$360). Fine, fresh ingredients, combined with experienced craftsmanship, bring out the essence of traditional Chinese cooking, making this a gathering place for many well-known, reputable restaurant owners, chefs and gourmands from all over. --By Niang Chen, translated by Mei Lee
