This eatery's tasty dough-based Chinese cuisine, loved by all, can be enjoyed in a comfortable and sanitary setting with spacious seats under a clear, bright lighting. The utensils used are no ordinary wooden chopsticks, but stainless steel ones. How's Country Kitchen has a variety of soup dumplings, fried rice, beef noodles, and "xiao long bao" (steamed soup dumplings) on their menu, and all are within the (NT$20 to NT$80) price range. The head manager insists that the food must be prepared according to the taste of the customers, who can choose to have their food seasoned to their liking beforehand, instead of following the menu. Even with an order of a small bowl of noodles, excellent customer service is guaranteed. The house special, a spicy bowl of noodles topped with a thick layer of stripped pork meat soaked in a special stock, is mixed with Sichuan peppers and chili peppers, producing a mouth-watering aroma that is hard to resist. The noodles are either thin or thick. Their flavor exudes from a fresh, doughy bowl of NT$40 spicy noodles. The xiao long bao (NT$70) consists of high-quality stock that has been simmered for a whole day, but be careful not to burn your lips as you bite through the thin, chewy flour skin.
