In this age of information overload, many
are trying to avoid the constant bombardment of often-false
information. If that is the case, this simple little bookstore
might be just the thing you are looking for. In truth, this
bookstore mostly sells works by author L. Ron Hubbard, the
only one of its kind in Taichung and one of two in all of
Taiwan. The author focuses on a complete life re-education;
one of his bestsellers asks if the reader is ready for this
journey, saluting them as a brave person and blessing them
in hopes that they will be forever transformed. The bookstore
is replete with comfortable white coffee tables and chairs
in a softly-lit, relaxing environment. It is hoped that customers
can enjoy light meals while they read. All the dishes offered
here are organic, encouraging both physical and mental cleansing
through reading and a healthy diet. This is a place worth
investigating if you are fed up with the crazy pace of life.
Tea drinks are priced between NT$60 and NT$150, sandwiches
are NT$110 and organic set meals are NT$160.
