Living up to its reputation as a popular provider
of Western comfort food, Uncle Jimmy's American Home Store
now provides an extensive menu of creatively named and presented
breakfast entrees every Saturday morning from 9 to 11:30 a.m.
The "Serious Breakfast" section starts with "The
Big One" (NT$275), with three waffles, three scrambled
or fried eggs, three strips of bacon, sausage or ham, home-fried
potatoes or grits, and choice of homemade biscuit, wheat or
Jewish rye toast or half-bagel. A smaller version of this
is the NT$135 "Reasonable Ride". One of the most
popular items is found in the Omelets section; the Greek Omelet
(NT$160) includes tomatoes, spinach, black and green olives,
caramelized onions and feta cheese. Among many other selections,
there is also a Granola Yogurt Fruit Parfait (NT$120), Apple
Cream French Toast (or waffles), muffins, kids' breakfasts,
oatmeal, fruit plates, and cold and hot drinks, from refillable
coffee to warm apple cider. |
