An oasis of Mediterranean relaxation in the
busy YiZhong Street district, this white and blue restaurant
is decorated Mediterranean-style using driftwood as door handles,
hand-painted murals, arched doors and stylish lighting fixtures
that seem to transport you to another time and place. Baked
dishes, pasta, hot pots, fruit curry, Korean-style kimchi
over rice, herb teas, ice slushies, milk teas, fruit teas,
specialty drinks, healthy teas, coffees and other snacks are
all on offer. Their Smoked Bacon and Egg Baked Dish (NT$140)
is made with cheeses imported from New Zealand, and is rich
but not overpowering. The Herb and Pesto with Clam Spaghetti
(NT$140) is prepared fresh daily with the freshest herbs,
cheese and olive oil, and is limited in availability. The
Fruit Curry with Chicken Stewed Rice (NT$90) has chicken that
has been marinated with rosemary, thyme, sage and other herbs
and spices, then added to curry that has been cooked for six
hours with fruit added for its special flavor. Their Rainbow
Iced Tea (NT$100) contains coffee, green apple juice, red
guava juice and green tea, and is a colorful, multi-layered
drink that looks deliciously attractive. The herbal teas here
should not be missed, either, as this place is not called
Seed Herb for nothing. They offer a great choice of herbal
and mixed-formula teas that are both fragrant and beneficial
to your health. |
