Situated on a little lane off of JingCheng
Road, Champious Vegetarian Cuisine provides simple, elegant,
individual meals. The delicious, all-vegetarian cuisine here
is mainly European and French. Dishes are all egg and alcohol
free, and not prepared with deep or shallow frying. The set-menu
selections do not offer too many choices--mostly baked rice
and pasta dishes--but each has its own unique character. Walk
inside and you will be served their homemade "healthy
tea", which is supposed to help strengthen your immune
system and has a freshness that will definitely wake up your
taste buds. After this comes the salad, bread, main course
and dessert. Baked rice choices include the French Baked Rice
with Wild Mushrooms, Baked Rice with Bacon & Mushrooms,
and Baked Pumpkin Rice with Smoked Chicken. The latter dish
is prepared with a pumpkin sauce that contains many different
spices and a very delicious vegetarian "chicken".
Pasta dishes include the Spaghetti Italiano with Pine Nut
Pesto Sauce, the Spaghetti Italiano with Bacon & Mushrooms,
and their very own Spaghetti Italiano with Madeira Vine. All-you-can-eat
Japanese-style appetizers, all very popular with regular customers,
are also available, including Japanese Black Beans, Hand Made
Silky Tofu, and Miso Flavored Edamame Beans. Set-menu meals
are NT$280 while a la carte dishes are NT$180. |
