This specialty shop sells products related
to organic living. The first floor is filled with all kinds
of health foods. Five-level-high shelves are fully stocked
with grains, nuts, health foods and everyday products, while
rows of coolers display fresh organic fruit and vegetables.
All food sources are inspected before items are brought into
the store to guarantee organic quality. Non-chemically-fertilized
organic vegetables are especially sweet to the taste. You
can also find eggs that have not been injected with antibiotics,
fire dragon fruit that have been cultivated with natural methods
and organic kiwi fruit, as well as yogurt drinks, nuts, tofu,
tofu skin, pancakes, whole-wheat buns and other vegetarian
food items. There is a second-floor dining area, with low-oil,
low-sodium, low-sugar, low-cholesterol and high-fiber lunches,
afternoon tea sets and dinners available. Sandwiches, sushi,
dry noodles and set meals (NT$190) are also offered. The meals
come with an energy soup, pumpkin soup, salad, kimchi, a choice
or rice or noodles, three stir-fried vegetables, sea swallow's
nest and naturally fermented vinegar drink. When eaten in
the correct order, this sumptuous meal does not create a burden
on the system. The afternoon tea set is NT$120 and comes with
a tea snack. The store also hosts healthy living lectures--call
for more details. |
