In the hot, sizzling summer days, many people get a craving for something sour and spicy, so Thai cuisine naturally comes to mind. Thai Style Restaurant is situated on WenXin Road near DaDun 12th Street. Offices and residences surround this restaurant, so they have come up with exotic set meals, with different choices every day from Monday to Friday. Meals are priced between NT$80 and NT$120. Thai Style Cold Noodles (NT$70) are available every Tuesday and Friday. They even offer a very convenient delivery service. Dinner time offerings are varied. The Sour & Spicy Seafood Salad (NT$200), Steamed Seabass in Lemon (NT$250), Raw Oyster in Thai Style (NT$220), Broiled Toothfish (NT$280) and Sour & Spicy Seafood Soup (NT$300) all come highly recommended, and have been carefully prepared by the chef known as "Ah Cheng from Thailand", who adds his own flair to all the dishes. Alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are available here at reasonable prices: Taiwan Beer is NT$100 per bottle and orange juice is NT$70 per glass. An assortment of iced desserts are available between NT$30 and NT$35.
