Quietly nestled on a residential street, La Terrasse is one place I will be frequently dropping into. Though not specializing in pizza, La Terrasse manages to make one heck of a pizza. The crust of the pizza is thick and chewy, enough to satisfy the carbohydrates desire we all have. The exceptional thing about a La Terrasse pizza is the generous amount of cheese melted upon it. It is rare to find a pizza literally dribbling with cheese. For a “basic” (cheese and tomato sauce), it is $260. For the cheese lovers, there is a Four Cheese Pizza, setting you back $370NT. A Paul's Pizza, consisting of sausage, salami, jalapenos, onion and green peppers, will cost you $420NT. The pizza I had was the salami, mushroom and olive pizza ($350NT), very rich and hearty in olive and salami aroma. To cater the animal-friendly, there is a vegetarian pizza, costing $370NT. All pizzas are 11 inches, enough to satisfy two stomachs. It is recommended to finish off with one of the four delicious desserts (cheesecake, carrot cake, chocolate cake or bread & butter pudding), all costing $85NT. In my opinion, the bread and butter pudding is definitely a scrumptious must-have.
