Papamia is cozy little Italian restaurant that is easily missed with a blink of the eye. With the boisterous chattering from other tables and the long list of pizzas to choose from, I was at a loss. Finally, narrowing it down between the Napoli Pizza (garlic, herbs, mozzarella, fresh tomatoes) and the Vegetarian Pizza (onions, mushrooms, broccoli, bell peppers), both of which cost NT$230, I chose the Napoli. Other tempting choices were the Italian (olives, mushrooms, pepperoni, salami) and the Chicken and Seasoned Mushroom Pizza (NT$230). For those who like to stick with the basics, try the fresh Mozzarella and Basil Pizza (NT$220). For those who like their food loud and colossal, try the most popular pizza at Papamia – the Seafood Pizza, consisting of onions, shrimp, squid, scallops, clams and fish meat (NT$280). The Naploli Pizza I ordered was extremely flavorful in herbs and garlic, just the way a Pizza should be. Though there are regular desserts awaiting you, such as the Papamia classic Tiramisu (NT$80), you may choose to go the radical route and stick with the dessert Pizza – the almond and raisin sugar Pizza (NT$180). All Pizzas are thin-crusted and 10 inches.
