     To fulfill his retirement dreams, the owner of this establishment selected this restaurant site for its natural backdrop. Recently opened and attached to the owner's home, Refresh Life offers a pleasant environment where one can enjoy a view of nature or the realization of the owner's dream. Either alone or, perhaps best, in groups, you can go straight to the kitchen and be initiated to the great outdoors. One special characteristic is the wooden patio placed next to the mountainside, so close that on a clear day Toubiankeng and the surrounding mountains offer a breathtaking view. The menu has a lot to offer, especially the fresh vegetable and chicken broth used for the highly recommended Mixed Hot Pot (NT$350), in which a variety of ingredients are brought together to produce a taste that is memorable. You can also try the Tomato Hotpot (NT$350), which uses a special tomato base, and the chef's specialty, the Health Food Hotpot (NT$380). There is now a special promotion for Haagen-Dazs Ice Cream (NT$90-220) and, given all the management's attention to detail, one can see that they are truly dedicated to their work.
