This
medium-sized Italian restaurant, located on a quiet residential
lane between Jing Cheng and Jung Ming South roads, is a
pretty, relaxing place to dine in. The two-floor, villa-like
building draws visitors in with its big glass windows and
little outside garden, full of colorful flowers and many
of the fresh herbs used in the quality cooking found here.
Inside, the Western country-style decor includes touches
like patterned wallpaper and classy-looking tables and
chairs. Jazz and classical background music completes the
atmosphere. There is seating for 80, from big groups to
the romantic little corners (particularly upstairs) for
couples. The menu has plenty of set-menu dinners, which
all come with soup, salad, dessert and drink, like the
Mint Lamb Chop (NT$480), French-Style Butter Baked Lobster
(NT$580), Italian Herb Baked Tender Chicken (NT$380) and
Norwegian Salmon Steak with butter sauce (NT$380). There
are also lower-priced pasta meals, from spaghetti to lasagna.
The NT$180 Business Lunch provides three main-course choices
and comes with soup and drink. One unique offer is the
NT$200 Fortune-Telling Afternoon Teatime special on Wednesdays/Fridays
from 2 to 6 p.m., featuring a free consultation with a
reputable fortune teller, plus dessert and drink.
