This Japanese restaurant's fun-sounding name (drawn from a Japanese expression) reflects the atmosphere at this friendly place, which serves diners with a big, circular rotating sushi bar. Unique from its competitors, 10 People, 10 Fishes offers a large, classy, lounge-like setting, complete with funky music and cushy seating booths that hold four to six people. Customers can also sit at a counter facing the moving bar, which offers dozens of choices priced according to the color of plate—NT$40, NT$50 or NT$80—including various types of sushi rolls, nigiri and other tasty Japanese rice-and-seafood delicacies. Besides these, a number of roasted, fried and other items can be ordered off of the main Chinese/English menu, including little hot pots; curry, cheese and corn croquettes; fried shrimp; crab chowder; and salted prawn. A "drink/ice" menu has NT$80 fruit juices, beer, plum wine, various sours, sake, ice cream and soft drinks. 10 People, 10 Fishes is located on Gong Yi Road, about half-way between the Dadun and Wenshin road intersections. Restaurant parking is located across the street in a shared lot. -- By Douglas Habecker
