When
you first see the sign "The Country Goose Kitchen",
you will most likely think that this is a special restaurant
for goose meat. However, there is a different reason for the
name. Owner A-Hui grew up in the countryside, in Yunlin county's
Mailiao. He hopes all the guests who come to his restaurant can
relax, like geese wandering along the country roads. This is
why it is named "Country Goose". There is indeed
a romantic and creative atmosphere here, including a path paved
with railway sleepers, gently waving leaves, a running stream
and a little bridge. The European-style furniture, along with
a fireplace, makes it a really comfortable place to enjoy the
food. The dressing for Honeydew and Crab Salad is made from
yogurt and spices. You can taste a slight sour flavor amidst
the sweetness, and it is light and appetizing. The Salmon Roasted
with Fennel is both fresh and delicious. The Roasted Lamb with
Mint Sauce is a brand-new dining experience. Soup, hot drinks
and homemade snacks are also served and made by A-Hui. Meals
at the Country Goose Kitchen are a complete combination of
presentation, fragrance and taste. The amiable greetings from
the owner and the waiters make the atmosphere even friendlier.
